| wow i sorta forgot about xanga for a while there. i figured i'd just update since it's been a while and a lot has happened!
well i figure that everyone knows matt and i got our house. we are loving it and i'm glad to say we havent had any problems at all. we're probably getting married in december. we were wanting october or november, but... we decided to get married on an island, prob st. lucia, and those 2 months are hurricane season. we can't move it up so we have to move it back. i don't particularly want our anniversary to be right at xmas but i do want to get married soon... so i suppose i'll suck it up. but we've pretty much decided on the sandals halcyon resort at st. lucia (http://www.sandals.com/main/halcyon/ha-home.cfm). it's a couples only resort, all inclusive, and there's lots of fun stuff to do... exploring the rainforest, volcanoes, horseback riding on the beach, scuba diving, etc. now i am just trying to pick out a dress!
ok, my mom and i just got good news. y'all know that car wreck we were both in back in 2000? well that's the reason i have so many neck and back problems, and it pretty much ruined my mom... she's had a bunch of operations and has just withered down to nothing. well we just found out that they have finally set a trial date for it in November. hopefully now we'll be getting all that money back and enough more so that i can start going to the doctor again. i know it doesnt sound that exciting but we have been waiting for this for so long.
pretty much everything else is going good, too! i'm turning 21 in a month, my best cousin whitney finally got pregnant again after years of trying and i get to be with her in the delivery room, matt just got transfered to a better station, we're working on decorating the house (as soon as we're a bit further we'll have an official housewarming party), and work is going pretty good. well i'm off to breakfast... i have some leftover chinese that is calling out to me from th fridge. everyone have a happy memorial day! | | |

| matt and i got pre-approved for our mortgage! now we just have to get hooked up with our real estate agent and wait it out until we find a house. we finally have enough for a down payment and closing costs and everything so we are ready. wow i didn't expect it all to go so well... and so fast! i didn't think we'd be ready until june or july. but yeah. i just hope i don't pick a home that ends up having bugs in it! omg that would be terrible. | | |
| omg. work has been killing me. i just got home an hour ago... i have been working late a lot. aagh. my new store is so freaking busy and crazy, and one of my clerks quit 2 weeks ago and the other one is a dumbass. so now we're shorthanded, too. anyways. hmm has everyone been busy or does no one call me anymore? i may be busy a lot but i have not fallen off the face of the earth. but the good thing about my new store is that i got a raise, a big one, so i already have $6000 saved up towards a down payment on a house. not too much longer! plus me and matt are gonna look for a house in northeast brentwood since it is close to the store and not to far from columbia. i am excited i hope that will work i love brentwood. its not the richie brentwood area, its more nippers corner or east of that. or at least thats the area i'm rooting for. hmm but yeah i am super excited because tomorrow i am getting off early and me and matt are going to gatlinburg to stay i my uncle's chalet and we dont have to come back till monday or tuesday night. woohoo!!!!! i cant wait. well anyways it is bedtime! i have a managers meeting bright and early, i need to crash. love yall. | | |
